Orange Girl Goes Home...Monastic's 'Gabby' is going to a Mastiff home of more than twenty years. Gabby's wonderful mom Susan came bearing gifts for all, including the sweet little going-home bandannas that all of the puppies are wearing in these photos! Little Gabby probably doesn't yet know how lucky she is.. but I certainly do. Monastic's Torre (Red Girl) and her very special welcoming committee...now has her own seven year old boy to love. Torre's mom has been planning for a Mastiff puppy for a very long time and is well prepared . We could not have asked for a more loving home for this special girl..and we know that she and Alusha will be inseparable very soon. Torre below playing with her new brother- playing hard and napping afterwards. Every Mastiff puppy wants a boy of her very own..
Monastic's Hunter of Hearts,(formerly yellow boy) in the arms of his new dad, another experienced mastiff owner, who clearly has his dad wrapped around his little pawpad from the beginning. Hunter obviously has already won his dad's heart and vice versa. What a fantastic home he has. Purple Boy below with his new mom, off to the Great White North... This little boy is embodiment of 'joy' and is a tail wagging smiling little guy at all times. His new family will be so good for him and he for them- still mourning the loss of their beloved late Mastiff. Also shown is a beautiful photo sent to us a few days after he has been in his new home- spoiled rotten already!
After only two weeks in his new home Lokey already has saved his family from a giant green...spider??!! Waytago Lokey! His new family thanks him below for saving their lives. Orange Boy 'Roman' above right and his new mom getting to know each other before heading off to Canada along with Purple Boy and his mom. Romie is going to be a city boy and will be a poster child for Mastiffs wherever he goes. He will have the best of lives with one of the most thoroughly Mastiff -educated moms ever and one who 'interned' under the able guidance of Mastiff mentors such as 'Truman'- a lovely 240 pound Mastiff boy in her neighborhood. Also pictured is a photo of him at nine weeks just received from his mom. Resting on a velvet pillow...and looking quite accustomed to it too!
Here is Roman with his mom after being in his new home for two weeks. He's so handsome and growing so fast. I love the shot of Romie looking pensive. He does that look so very well! Below is Koa (Blue Boy) as he and his new parents prepare to go home with their new baby. At home Koa has a new brother waiting to meet him- another Mastiff boy named Nui. Koa and Nui are very lucky because their mom and dad takes them everywhere with them and their dogs are treated like royalty. We know he will have such a great life with his new family! Above is Koa three days later in his new home- I think he's grown already!
Koa and his new big brother Nui... Koa, above, as 'Mr. February'... he's quite the cutie pie isn't he! Below is 'Aidan' formerly known as 'White Girl'- I like to call her our miniature Dugan puppy girl. This little cutie charmed us all, our son Eric in particular. Her new dad went on a long journey to get her while mom waited eagerly at home with their three current Mastiff 'kids'. Aidan's mom loves her Mastiffs very much - at least one Mastiff shares their bed with them every night. Another incredible multiple Mastiff family home for one of our most dynamic puppies. She will have such a wonderful life... Willow, formerly known as 'Yellow Girl' (below with her new momma) will soon be in Mastiff hog heaven in Texas, in a very special home which is comprised of two other apricot mastiff girls, and one brindle girl! She will be much loved by her mom, and will have a built-in family of mastiff companions. She will be coming back to visit us for a week in April- we can't wait to keep her while her mom is at a dog show with one of her new mastiff sisters! I'll take lots of photos that week of course... Willow below, after being in her new home only a short while, already hatching her plan to squash the landscaping at her new home- writhing and chomping away! But gee she's cute when she's doing it isn't she??
I love this girl...Willow is pictured napping below her new sis, Bailey on the couch- and her best 'give me a cookie' face!
Guinevere (Blue Girl) with her new family...the only Monastic puppy to remain right here in Alabama (other than the kids who are staying with us, that is!) Guinevere is the very spoiled first child of this wonderful young couple. Her dad grew up with a Mastiff and always planned to have one someday. That dream has come true for him- it's clear to see that this girl will be very loved and doted on!
