Getting to Know You

We do not breed very often but when we do, we want the very best of companion homes for our puppies. We do have tentative breeding plans for Spring of 2011. If you are interested in a future Monastic Mastiff puppy, please fill out this puppy inquiry as a way of  introducing yourself to us. 

We try our best to place puppies only in the most  loving and responsible of homes and the following puppy inquiry form helps us in that process. Sometimes it takes a few days to respond. If you don't hear from us within a week's time feel free to email us directly.

  • Keep in mind that we only place Mastiff puppies into homes which want their dogs to live inside as house pets. We do not place puppies with 'breeders' or with anyone who wishes to start a breeding operation or kennel.

  • Any show potential puppies we choose to sell are placed on co-ownership with us to prevent any unauthorized breeding or change of ownership.

  • Puppies placed as 'companion only' cost less and are all placed on spay/ neuter contracts with limited AKC registration. 

  • An AKC limited registration only limits the dog from conformation events and breeding-  they can participate in all AKC performance events and can earn titles in Obedience, Utility, Draft/Carting, Rally etc...  We strongly encourage obedience training! Mastiffs are a working breed and are happiest when they have a 'job' to do with/for their owners.

Is your dog current on all vaccinations and on monthly heartworm preventative? If not why not?

Is someone home during the day at your house? Please describe the living situation for the puppy.  If no one is at home during the days can you plan for someone to come into your home to let the puppy in and out during the potty training stage? Would you consider hiring someone to come to your home daily in the first year, if your schedule is too hectic?
