We do not recommend allowing puppies under 18 months of age to Jump and play wildly. Their open growth plates are fragile and  their joints can be easily damaged. For this reason we do not recommend very long walks for puppies under age 18 months either

Yes some Mastiffs are athletic and high energy.....note Sabra playing ball below at age two- and son Ari playing with a new toy at fifteen months of age. If you want a 'couch potato' Mastiff please purchase a puppy from another breeder....most of ours usually are very active dogs in spite of their size. Better yet, adopting an older and 'already settled' Mastiff may be the best option for folks who truly only want a very laid-back and lazier type of Mastiff. Senior Mastiffs can be such wonderful examples of our breed...and their volume is just turned down from when they were pups!

Above, Sabra plays ball with mom

Ari wants that toy now!

Sabra caught smoking again?
